President Larry Puls called
the meeting to order at 7:15 P.M. at the American Legion Post #2.
We all said HELLO to Jim
White from Texas.
Minutes of the July 5, 2006 meeting were read. Howard Hough
made a motion to accept the minutes as read. Seconded and carried.
Dale Parker gave the Treasurer’s Report. Howard Hough made a
motion to accept the Treasurer’s Report as given. Seconded and carried.
OLD BUSINESS
Larry Puls gave a
report on the Glider Event. He also reported that we have 8 new members.
NEW BUSINESS
Dale Parker gave a report on the purchase of the new mower. He
also spent some money for some minor repairs and applied some labor to put
it in cutting order. He asked for help to unload it at the field.
A motion was made to pay Dale Parker for the additional parts
required. Seconded and carried.
Ed Splittgerber gave a report on the Old Timers Event that was
held in June.
He also
reminded us of another Old Timers Event August 26, 2006.
Larry Puls reported that there would be a Float Fly sponsored by
the Omahawks Flying Club on Tuesday August 8, 2006 at 8:30 AM.
With no further business Howard Hough made a motion to adjourn
at 8:05 PM. Seconded and carried.
SHOW AND TELL
Jim White brought a scratch built Muffin (looks like a Globe
Swift).
Larry Bailey brought an electric ARF Cornet 400.
Howard Hough brought an E-Flite electric 3-D profile.
Larry Puls brought an Old Timer Quaker, powered with an OS.52
engine.
