President Larry Puls called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. at the
American Legion Post #2. There were 17 members present.
Minutes of the
March 7, 2007 meeting were read. Correction to March minutes, the June 30,
2007 is a Fun Fly and not a Glider Contest. Dean Dingman made a motion to
accept the minutes as corrected. The motion was seconded and carried.
Dale Parker gave
the Treasurer’s Report. A motion was made to accept the treasurer’s
Report as given. The motion was seconded and carried.
OLD BUSINESS
Roger
Vaad asked that we check the battery for the tractor. Dale Parker stated
that he would check it out and buy a new one if needed.
Dean
Dingman gave a report on the Dawn Patrol event of May 19 – 20, 2007. He
confirmed the A.M.A. sanction is sent in. Dean gave a very good report of
everything that is required and what has been accomplished as of April
2007.
NEW BUSINESS
Larry
Puls stated that the COBRA CLUB clean-up day would be Saturday April 14
and Sunday April 15, 2007, at 10:00A.M.
Larry
Bailey mentioned that the S.W.I.F.T. club meets at Chalco Hills Thursday
April 5, 2007.
Don Sholty
gave a program using an Edge S40 Aircraft, with a DX7 2.4Ghz. Spectrum
radio. Discussion followed on how the Spectrum Radio works.
With no
further business, a motion was made to adjourn the meeting for show and
tell at 8:06 P.M. The motion was seconded and carried.
SHOW AND TELL
Howard Hough brought an A.M.A. Cub rubber powered plane and passed out
kits to all who wanted one.
Tom Price
brought a Helicopter with all updated C.N.C. parts.
