President Larry Puls
called the meeting to order at 7:10 PM at American Legion Post # 2 with
14 members present.
Secretary Lynn
Fehr read the minutes for the July 2, 2008 meeting.
A motion was made to
accept the minutes as read. Seconded and carried.
Treasurer Dale
Parker gave the Treasurer’s report. A motion was made to accept the
treasurer’s report as well. Seconded and carried.
Adam Shelburg
introduced a guest from Texas, Tracy Mann.
OLD
BUSINESS
Dale Parker gave a rundown
on the New Safety Fencing. He informed the members of the method of
construction and the cost. After a discussion, a motion was made to
extend the plastic covers and go to 4 ft lattice. Seconded and carried.
A motion was
made to approve the purchase of materials and construction of the Safety
Fencing. Seconded and carried by a 13 to 1 vote.
George Eheman
gave a report on the OLD TIMERS FUN FLY.
Dean Dingman
gave a status report on the Dawn Patrol Fun Fly. There will be a raffle
for a Balsa USA 1/6 scale Nieuport 17 Kit.

business a motion was made to adjourn at 8:15 PM.

engine.
