President Larry Puls called the meeting to order at 7:12 P.M. at the
American Legion Post #2. There were 16 members present.
Minutes of the January 3, 2007 meeting were read. A
motion was made to accept the minutes as read. The motion was seconded and
carried.
Dale Parker gave the Treasurer’s Report. A motion was
made to accept the treasurer’s Report as given. The motion was seconded
and carried.
Dale Parker went over the 2007 Budget, as posted with
the January 11, 2007 minutes. A motion was made to accept the 2007 Budget.
The motion was seconded and carried.
OLD BUSINESS
Larry Puls gave a report on the insurance estimate for
the tractor and field mower. The Farmers Insurance Group said the cost
would run $500.00 per year for a tractor valued at $2000.00 and a mower at
$1000.00.
NEW BUSINESS
George Eheman gave a suggestion on the upcoming club
contests. Suggestions are on file with the February 7, 2007 minutes. The
monthly Fun Fly will be February 24, 2007 and March 24, 2007.
Howard Hough made a motion to accept George Eheman Club
contest suggestions. The motion was seconded and carried.
The Old Timers Fun Flys will be twice a month for 2007.
The dates are as follows:
May 5 and 26
June 2 and 16
July 7 and 21
August 4 and 18
September 1 and 15
After discussion of the Dawn Patrol Event, Keith
Paskewitz made a motion to have the event on May 19 and 20, 2007 and to pay
for the AMA sanction. The motion was seconded and carried. A DVD was shown
to give us an idea of what the event will be like.
With no further business a motion was made to adjourn
at 8:28 P.M.

Ed Splittgerber brought a small set of plans for a
future building project HU-16 Albatross.
Howard Hough brought his new plane and Electric Gypsy.
