President Larry Puls called the meeting to order at 7:10 PM at American Legion Post # 2 with 13 members present.
Secretary Lynn Fehr read the minutes of the January 7, 2009 meeting.
A motion was made to accept the minutes as read. Seconded and carried.
Treasurer Dale Parker gave the Treasurer’s report. A motion was made to accept the Treasurer’s report as presented. Seconded and carried. OLD BUSINESS Contest dates were discussed as selected by the president.

April 25 COBRA ELECTRIC FUN FLY TIME 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

May 23 OLD TIMERS TIME 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
It was mentioned that the Super Bowl Fun Foy at DIGZ was a successful venture. Approximately 60 Flyers of which 40 people stayed for pizza and the Super Bowl Game.
NEW BUSINESS
Dean Dingman stated we have a new web site www.westernfrontdawnpatrol.com. Keith Paskewitz set up the site for us.
Keith Paskewitz had back surgery last week. No card was sent therefore a motion was made to send him a get well and on his feet card. Seconded and carried.

Dean Dingman showed off his 1918 SOPWITH CAMEL, which is electric.
Larry Bailey showed his ELECTRIC SLEDGE indoor ARF.
Adam Shelburg showed off his new combat plane DRACO.
Chuck & Ben Hall displayed his partly built balsa MERC 1938 airplane which is scratch built.
Dale Parker won the club raffle, which is a JN-4 JENNY ARF. Lynn Fehr
