President
Larry Puls called the meeting to order at 7:12 PM at American Legion
Post # 2 with 10 members present.
Secretary Lynn Fehr read the minutes for the June 4, 2008 meeting. A
motion was made to accept the minutes as read. Seconded and carried.
Treasurer Dale Parker gave the Treasurer’s report. A motion was made to
accept the treasurer’s report as well as read. Seconded and carried.
OLD
BUSINESS
The Electric Fun Fly was discussed which took place at Twin City Eagle
Squadron Field.
NEW
BUSINESS
Larry Puls led a discussion about safety fencing for the club field
since the current fencing is breaking down.
Roger Vaad made a motion that we check on AMA for approval of the
materials used. The cost of the materials to be confirmed at Menards.
The cost should not to exceed $500.00. The motion was seconded and
carried by a 6 to 3 vote.
John Gilbert stated
he would give $200.00 toward the field fencing budget which has a
$500.00 limit.
With no further business, Howard Hough made a motion that we adjourn at
8:55 PM. Motion was seconded and carried.
