President Larry Puls called the meeting to
order at 7:10 pm at American Legion Post #2 with 15 members present.
Lynn Fehr invited American Legion members to view our aircraft.
Secretary Lynn Fehr read the minutes of the
February 3, 2010 meeting. A motion was made to accept the minutes as
read. Seconded and carried.
Treasurer Dale Parker read the Treasurer's
Report. A motion was made to accept the Treasurer's Report as read.
Seconded and carried.
OLD BUSINESS
The field condition was discussed along
with the entry road and future maintenance requirements.
NEW BUSINESS
Larry Puls asked the members to promote the club this year. The Dawn
Patrol event was discussed as well as the Ads. Gilmore Fun Fly is
scheduled for April 11, 2010 at 12:00 noon.
With no further business, Howard Hough made
a motion to adjourn at 7:30 pm. Seconded and carried.
SHOW AND TELL
Steve Jordan displayed his small Gilmore Monoplane with a 58" wingspan
using a 46 size engine. It is a B&K Kit.
Duwayne Schmelzer showed his Curtiss P6E
HAWK. The wingspan is 58". It uses a 180 Saito Engine and is a Great
Planes Kit. He also showed his large Gilmore with a wingspan of 84". The
engine will be 50 cc.
Harold Zimmerman displayed his Tiger Moth
Biplane. It is from a Proctor Kit using a 31 cc engine.
Ed Splittgerber showed a Sig Kit of a Space
Walker. It has 84" wingspan with 120 Saito Engine.
John Ord displayed his 160 KV Electric
Motor using 110 amp speed control.
