President Larry Puls called the meeting to order at 7:12 PM at
Golden Corral Restaurant Backroom with 8 members present.
Secretary Lynn Fehr read the minutes of the
February 9, 2011 meeting. A motion was made to approve the minutes
as read. The motion was seconded and carried.
The COBRAS signed and sent a sympathy card
to Larry Bailey for the loss of his wife. The secretary purchased
and mailed the card.
OLD BUSINESS
A discussion ensued about putting a canvas
shelter attached to the building at the flying field.
NEW BUSINESS
Kite flying at the COBRAS Field on windy
days was discussed. Altitude limits were discussed for flying.
Larry Puls received a phone call that John
Gilbert died this morning. Gilbert was the club’s safety officer.
Chuck Hull was selected to fulfill the safety officer position for
the 2011 year.
Secretary Lynn Fehr will purchase a sympathy card which will be
signed by members. The card will be mailed and the club will send
flowers.
With no further business Ed Splittgerber
made a motion that we adjourn at 8:37 PM. The motion was seconded
and carried.

anyone who wanted them.
