President Larry Puls called the meeting to
order at 7:07 pm at American Legion Post #2 with 11 members present.
Secretary Lynn Fehr read the minutes of the
April 7, 2010. A motion was made by Keith Paskewitz to accept the
minutes as read. Seconded and carried.
Treasurer Dale Parker read the Treasurer's
report. A motion was made by Mike McKinney to accept the Treasurer's
report as read. Seconded and carried.
OLD BUSINESS
Roger Vaad stated that he has sprayed for
dandelions.
The west wall of the out building is in
need of repair; however, the entrance road repair is the first priority.
NEW BUSINESS
Dale Parker reported on the tractor tires.
He is looking for some used ones. A motion was made by Roger Vaad to
allow a maximum of $250.00 for a used tire and a new tube for the
tractor. Seconded and carried.
Dean Dingman stated that we have an ad on
the web site for the Dawn Patrol Fun Fly. Also discussed was the Gilmore
Racers Fun Fly. Dean displayed some promotional fliers for the Fun Fly.
Larry Puls reported on the setting up of
the Summer Tent.
The Old Timers Fun Fly dates were
established. The Fun Flys will be held on the third Saturday of every
month through September with the exception of May and September. The May
date will be May 22 which is the fourth Saturday. The September date
will be September 11 which is the second Saturday.
In November there will be a Chili Fun Fly.
We have two new members Walt Jacobsen and
Duwayne Schmeizer.
With no further business, a motion was made by Ed Splittgerber to
adjourn at 8:07 pm. Seconded and carried.
SHOW AND TELL
Keith Paskewitz showed his RV 9 electric
plane. It weighs 42.5 oz. Wingspan is about 42 inches.
Lynn Fehr brought 9 AMA DVD's to sell at
$10.00 each or 3 for $27.00. If anyone is interested in purchasing any
