President
Larry Puls is out of town, so Vice President Adam Shelburg called the
meeting to order at 7:03 PM at American Legion Post # 2 with 9 members
present.
Secretary Lynn Fehr read the minutes for
the September 3, 2008 meeting.
A motion was made by Howard Hough to accept the minutes as read.
Seconded and carried.
Treasurer Dale Parker gave the Treasurer’s
report. A motion was made by Roger Vaad to accept the treasurer’s report
as well as read. Seconded and carried.
OLD BUSINESS
Dean Dingman stated a check from John Gilbert has not been deposited
yet. The check is for the COBRAS field fencing.
NEW BUSINESS
Dean Dingman stated we had several prizes left from the Dawn
Patrol. Dean suggested we hold a monthly drawing for the door prizes
that are left over. A motion was made to have a $1.00 drawing for a door
prize at the meetings. Seconded and carried.
A motion was made by Dean Dingman to build the fifth
section of fencing, as money had been donated for it. Seconded and
carried.
Dates for the Fun Fly were discussed. A motion was made
that we set the following dates for the Fun Fly October 19, November 16,
and December 21, 2008. Seconded and carried.
With no further business a motion was made by Roger
Vaad to adjourn. Seconded and carried.
