President Larry
Puls called the meeting to order at 7:07 p.m. at American Legion Post #
2 with 14 members present.
Secretary Lynn
Fehr read the minutes of the August 5, 2009 meeting. A motion was made
to accept the minutes as read. Seconded and carried.
Treasurer Dale
Parker reported that he had paid our taxes. A motion was made to accept
the Treasurer’s report as presented. Seconded and carried.
OLD BUSINESS
Dean Dingman
gave a rundown of the Dawn Patrol’s history as well as what prizes we
have received for the current and past contests.
Roger Vaad reported on what tractor
maintenance is required.
NEW BUSINESS
Larry Puls
announced the following contests dates for the remainder of the year.
They are:
September 6 is Dusk
Patrol,
September 19-20 is Dawn
Patrol,
September 26 is Old
Timers Contest,
October 17 is Fun Fly,
November 21 is Fun Fly.
With no
further business a motion was made by Larry Bailey to adjourn at 7:55
p.m. Seconded and carried.

Larry Bailey
showed his beautiful foam Phantom Jet. It has a 70 mm ducted fan.
Chuck Hall
showed his Veco .19 powered Old Timers Mercury Jr. plane.
