Vice President Adam Shellberg called the meeting to order at 7:17PM
at Golden Corral Restaurant in the President’s absence.
Secretary Lynn Fehr read the minutes of the
August 3, 2010 meeting. A motion was made to accept the minutes as
read. The motion was seconded and carried.
Treasurer Dale Parker gave the Treasurer’s Report. A motion was made
to accept the Treasurer’s Report as read. The motion was seconded
and carried.
OLD BUSINESS
Lynn Fehr gave a current report on
President Larry Puls who is at Risen Son Christian Village in room
C21.
The Dawn Patrol Fun Fly was cancelled
because of flooding. The water is now gone but the ground is quite
soft. The road is rutted and muddy. The field maintenance equipment
will be checked out when possible.
NEW BUSINESS
A discussion ensued on possibly moving the
meeting place to the back room of the Sapp Brothers Truck Stop, the
reason being that the members felt obligated to buy dinner even
though the Golden Corral manager stated that we didn’t have to buy
dinner. He said most Wednesdays are slower than other days.
Steve Jordan stated he would contact Sapp
Brothers again to confirm availability of the back room. He will
notify the secretary of the results.
With no further business, a motion was made to adjourn at 8:07 PM.
